ROBERT G. BENNETT: Since 1967, Mr. Bennett has served as Chairman and CEO of Bennett Management Corp. of Toledo, Ohio. Bennett Management Corp., through various entities, now owns and operates 31 Burger Kings in the states of Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.

Mr. Bennett, a CPA and attorney, practiced tax accounting with what is now Deloite & Touche and tax and corporate law with the firm of Blackwell, Walker and Gray in Miami, Florida. For the last 35 years in Toledo, Ohio, Mr. Bennett has owned and operated Burger Kings and other restaurants in 5 states.

Burger King Corporation asked Mr. Bennett to serve on every advisory council they created as they were formed. Each of these councils met with top-level Burger King officers to plan marketing, facilities, equipment and operations for the corporation.

Mr. Bennett, as Chairman of the National Franchisee Association’s Committee for Franchisee/Franchisor Relations, helped to rewrite the current Burger King Franchise Agreement.

Mr. Bennett and his companies are actively engaged in their local communities. Central Catholic High School awarded him their highest honor for his years of support and service on their Board of Trustees. Mr. Bennett has served on Toledo Public School’s Hall of Fame, is past Director of the Toledo Boy Scouts of America and has served on numerous other political, charitable and business associations in the Toledo Area.

Bennett Management Corp. now maintains offices in Toledo, Ohio and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
